A few things about me

​

I fell in love with photography at twelve, in Madrid, when I borrowed my mother’s analog reflex camera. Very quickly I was shooting black-and-white portraits nonstop. That passion led me, as a teenager, to teach myself everything — from shooting endlessly to studying Life photography books to countless nights spent in the family bathroom turned into a darkroom. It was there that I discovered the magic of turning emotions into images, and fleeting moments into a lasting prints.

Growing up between cultures — Spanish, French, and later American — shaped the way I see people: with curiosity, openness, and a quiet desire to reveal their essence. I’m a firm believer that the lens is a mirror of the soul. My search for beauty and authenticity is inseparable from my lifelong inner quest — a resonance that infuses all of my work.

My career began in Paris and continued in New York, where I photographed for magazines such as Glamour, GQ, and Esquire, as well as for international campaigns and artists in film, music, and dance. In 2009, a major turning point led me to leave the commercial world behind. Since then, I’ve devoted myself entirely to artistic portraiture and body photography — my two great passions.

My work, represented in galleries, has been exhibited publicly in Paris in the gardens of the Palais-Royal, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Panama, and is shown regularly at photo fairs in Paris and New York.

   Today, based in Montreal, I continue to work with clients from here and internationally. All this experience flows into my studio practice, where I create fine art portraits for individuals, families, women, and artists who feel drawn to my way of seeing — with emotional depth and timeless presence.
